If you haven’t visited downtown Huntersville lately, you’re in for a pleasant surprise! A lot is happening, and I’ve enjoyed getting a firsthand look at the changes taking shape in our community.
One of the most anticipated openings is Cocotte Bakery, which is now bringing its French pastries, coffee, and delicious menu to downtown Huntersville.
I had the opportunity to meet with one of the owners, Angela, and get a sneak peek before the doors opened. If you’ve visited their Cornelius location, you already know why people are excited!
Just next door, Corkscrew is getting ready to open November 7! I recently met with the owners, who shared some of the thoughtful details going into their new space, including a refurbished sign from their former Birkdale Village location. It’s exciting to see these local businesses investing in downtown.
And the improvements extend beyond restaurants and shops.
Huntersville continues to expand its greenway network, including a new connection to North Mecklenburg Park. The town is also planning improvements to make downtown more accessible to surrounding neighborhoods.
These investments matter. When I’m working with buyers, walkability, access to greenways, local restaurants, and community gathering places are increasingly part of the conversation. People want to know what life will look like beyond their front door.
That’s one of the things I appreciate most about Huntersville. We’re growing, but there’s still a strong sense of community and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting local businesses.
If you’d like to keep up with what’s happening, follow Downtown Huntersville on Instagram and Facebook for updates on new businesses, events, and development projects.
And if you’re curious about how these changes might influence your home’s value or your next move, I’m always happy to chat.
