Last Wednesday, I had the privilege of hosting an event at B2 in my Vermillion neighborhood. Neighbors came together to meet the candidates for mayor and town commissioners. It was encouraging to see so many take the time to listen, learn, and engage in the conversations that shape our community.

I’m grateful to everyone who attended and added to the thoughtful discussions. Your presence and participation show how much our community cares about the future of Huntersville.
Now, let’s keep that momentum going—stay informed, stay involved, and most importantly, make sure your voice is heard at the polls. Together, we can continue to shape an outstanding community for all who call Huntersville home.
Here are some key dates:
- Ballots will be mailed out starting: Friday, October 3, 2025.
- Last Day to Register to Vote on Election Day: Friday, October 10, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
- First Day of Early Voting: Thursday, October 16, 2025.
- Last day to request a ballot: Tuesday, October 21, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
- Last Day of Early Voting: Saturday, November 1, 2025.
- 2025 General Election Day: Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
- Absentee Ballot Return Deadline: Tuesday, November 4, 2025, by 7:30 p.m.
I highly recommend early voting at the North Mecklenburg Public Library in Huntersville. Generally, there is no waiting.
