Spotlight on Huntersville: June 2026

1) Huntersville has been ranked in the Top 50 Best Places To Live!

U.S. News & World Report ranked Huntersville #36 out of 250 on their annual “Best Places” release. To make the top of the list, a place had to have good value, be a desirable place to live, have a strong job market and a high quality of life. They also ranked the Town as the #22 Best Small City To Live In The US and #3 Best Place To Live In North Carolina.

2) The Town Board approved a massive multi-use project called Knox Crossing on the northeast corner of Old Statesville and Sam Furr, totaling 44 acres.

Combined, we will see 87,000 sq. ft. of commercial space with up to 413 townhomes and apartments. A grocery store is planned to be the anchor tenant. This development will adjoin a previously-approved project just to the north. This area will feature a Red Line station and have The Seam Trail running through it.

3) Anthony’s Tap and Table is coming to the Holbrook!

We’re expecting a fall opening. When we get an update, we’ll let you know on our Downtown Huntersville Instagram.
