1) We recommended denial of a proposed apartment complex on 11 acres at the intersection of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road and Alexandriana Road. Ultimately, the project deviated too significantly from the zoning designation being requested.
2) We recommended approval of a rezoning request for 106 acres located east of the intersection of Hambright Road and Everette Keith Road. This area presents several topographical challenges, which require considerable adjustments during the rezoning process. The developer plans to build a neighborhood of for-sale single-family homes and townhomes, featuring a variety of community amenities.
